Angie Morgan

Angie Morgan joined Greenspace as the Administrative Assistant in 2023. She has consistently demonstrated her expertise in organizational and operational management.  Angie works closely with the Executive Director and assists with the planning and organization of a wide range of projects, programs and events throughout the year including the Chinese New Year at Creekside, Earth Day Celebration, Annual Adventure Auction, and the Annual Tree Planting and many others.

Angie received her B.A. in Art History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She had a 30-year long career with CEMEX, a global construction materials supplier including ten years as an Environmental Specialist, handling various aspects of environmental compliance. 

Aside from her invaluable work in the office, Angie also volunteers for almost all the Greenspace events. One major project is growing hundreds of Monterey pine seedlings for the annual tree planting at San Simeon and for county tree mitigation, which she grows in her own backyard!

When not planning events, volunteering, or growing trees for Greenspace, Angie and her husband, Brian like to visit state and national parks in their travel trailer. Their cat is a Maine Coon, named Umo, who comes along for the adventures. 

Angie also enjoys walking at the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, and looking for her favorite spring flower, Globe lilies, which often are inconspicuously camouflaged among the vetch and ground covers. She also loves to bake and makes incredible lemon cake and macaroons. Angie also enjoys propagating plants from cuttings and has been recently experimenting with California native plants found in the Creekside Reserve.
