Leave a Legacy

Long-billed Curlew (Numenius americanus)

Gifts of land and the means to conserve it are fundamental to Greenspace’s land trust and conservation efforts.  In the past 27 years, we have received more than 31 acres of open space and forest in the Cambria area, most of which we have been able to open to public access while also maintaining islands of green in the development landscape. This land has calmed human hearts, opened eyes and delighted spirits, as well as providing safe havens for deer, raccoons, foxes, bobcats, wild turkeys, songbirds and a myriad of other creatures.

Greenspace welcomes serious offers of land with clear title which has a significant ecological value in terms of location, native plant population, wild animal habitat, proximity to other open space preserves, etc.  All land donations must be accompanied by a cash endowment to help support maintenance and conservation activities.

If you would like to discuss a possible land gift, please contact Greenspace at 805-927-2866 or director@greenspacecambria.org
