Art and Adventure Auction
Each summer, Greenspace presents our exciting Art and Adventure Auction. Including a fabulous dinner prepared by Robin’s Restaurant, the auction is a lively exciting evening of catching up with friends, learning about the work of Greenspace and bidding on a fine selection of art donated by locally and nationally known artists and adventure trips ranging from a cruise of the Puget Sound to a week in France. Please contact us and check the Events Calendar for date and location of the dinner auction.
Concerts at the Creekside
This year, Greenspace will present a lecture by Wayne Attoe on Cambria history, in conjunction with the publication of his new book, and a summer music event at the Creekside Reserve on historic Center Street in Cambria. Please check the Events Calendar for dates and times.
Made in the Watershed: A Festival of Local Art, Craft and Food
Currently in the planning stages, this annual festival will feature local food artisans, artists and craftspeople who live and work in the Santa Rosa Creek and San Simeon Creek watersheds, including the towns of Cambria, Harmony and San Simeon. Our goal is to create an event that will highlight the local economy of the NorthCoast and the availability of locally produced healthy foods and locally made, high-quality crafts and art. Look for more festival news as the year progresses.
Greenspace presents an annual Speakers Series on issues important to the local ecosystem and our community. This year, we plan to sponsor talks on forest health, local agriculture-based economies, regional geology, and caring for the Earth from a spiritual perspective. The Events Calendar will include a listing of the talks by month, or contact us for more information.
In collaboration with the Cambria Historical Society, Greenspace will host a book signing later this spring for Wayne Attoe, our Board President, whose latest book, Cambria, will be published in April. Please watch the Insider Newsletter for more information. We also plan to host a geology or plant identification walk—check the Events Calendar for the date. More information will be available through our newsletter and The Cambrian.
